HopeSide Gojra Church BELIEFS

At HopeSide Gojra Church, our mission is to empower individuals and families to grow in their faith and become active members of our community. We strive to love God, love people, and make a difference in the world.

Our core beliefs can be summed up as follows:

1. WHOLESOME LIVING NOW:

Mark 12:30-31- Love for God, others, and oneself - relationships' centered.

30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  There is none other commandment greater than these.

2. THE HOPE OF LIFE TO COME:

Titus 2:13 - Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of...our Savior Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 3:1-5

3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4. To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

• We practice the Adventist system of beliefs and biblical interpretation, however, we engage in and support the outreach efforts of anyone to simply draw all to Christ.  We actively encourage and engage in interfaith worship and fellowship events to foster the coming in unity of all believers in one accord.  The importance of this cannot be overestimated as found in Ephesians 4 and Acts 2.
